As part of the construction of the Ecolant plant in Vyksa, our employees transported large-sized heavy equipment from the territory of the Oka shipyard, where the equipment was delivered on a barge-tow train along the inland waterways of Russia.
A special feature of this project is that transportation was carried out at the time of completion of navigation in 2023, which is why all equipment was transported on one barge with a very dense placement.
To perform this work, it was decided to use three different configurations of road trains. The use of various types of transport was due to the weight and size characteristics of the cargo, as well as the need for the most rapid delivery of equipment, part of which was to be delivered to the installation.
A special feature of this project was the roll-out from a barge using the Ro-Ro method, which our specialists successfully coped with when interacting with employees of companies involved in the organization of water transportation, roll-out and automobile transportation.
